It's a lovely day to go for a walk through the forest. The dark night has given way to a clear morning and I've been toiling over the fire to cook up food and spending a little time with the alchemy engine to get a shopping list of parts, because keeping busy is a good way to preserve sanity while waiting for the dawn to come. Charcoal for a boomerang, spider web for a bug net, spider organs and ash for healing salve, Nintendo Switch Updates and general scavenging to keep food supplies from draining too low will fill up the new day nicely.

The 2013 finalists for the Canadian Videogame Awards span seventeen categories and include 29 games, narrowed down from 75 nominated titles. To qualify titles, at least in part, must be developed in Canada. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag leads the pack this year with an impressive 12 nominations. Last year's show saw Far Cry 3 take him the most awards , including Game of The Y

So it only makes sense that plenty of enterprising players have gone above and beyond their busy schedule of surviving and not starving to gift the world with mods. The best mods don’t necessarily make gameplay any easier, they just make the world less seemingly random and more balanced. These ones are definitely worth try

Don't Starve Together is the multiplayer version of the popular survival game Don't Starve . This game is popular for people that want to play with friends in order to build a base in The Constant and try to see how many days and seasons they can survive. Several characters from the Don't Starve universe have been added to the game, making it a ton of fun for players to choose their favorite and get play

Between everything, checking and setting traps can become a huge use of daylight. Not so with automatic traps, - "You gain the ability to set traps that you never need to worry about replacing . Have some beautiful designs made of death and they will always stay that way. To increase cleanup, the traps are pickup on right-click only. This means you can left-click or hold spacebar to your heart's content near them. It requires an Alchemy Engine for crafting, costing 1 log, 1 gear, _ and _3 hound's teeth." The work of survival can be a bit grinding at times, but there's a satisfaction to be had from making a plan and seeing it through. Today I have food but want to build something, so it's off to harvest logs and craft them into boards. Trees are cheap, plentiful, and easily renewable, but tomorrow I want gold and finding veined rocks isn't so simple. Loading up on roasted carrots and berries and taking the trusty pickaxe out for a stroll into the stony wastes solves this problem, but there's frequently other things to find there as well, such as a jagged pile of rocks that signifies a cave entrance. That's an adventure for another day, though, because the gold I'm bringing home will make an alchemy engine, which in turn allows the creation of much better gear that increases the odds of crawling out of the cave alive. The cycle of work/reward turns at a pleasant pace, making the results of all that effort feel like something earned.

As perfect as the games may be, and as utterly fantastic as they may be to play, there are some things about both entries that leave fans either frustrated or scratching their heads. A good illustration of this nonsensical nature is the ever-reliable meme, ten of which show that the games do not make much sense, and we look at them h
