As mentioned earlier in the guide, Hillbilly is a very basic killer in a game filled with personality and in-depth mechanics. But the character makes up for his lacking personality by having some of the most powerful tools in the game. But to truly get mileage out of his seemingly bare-bones arsenal will take some practice, but can lead to some incredibly quick and brutal rounds of Dead by Dayli

It also causes players to jump around and do things they didn't do, all because the connection is bad. In a lot of cases, players are being suspended from matchmaking because the hosts game loses connect

The best scenario for Legion is when the survivors have all clustered together. Whether it’s working together on the same generator, healing each other’s wounds, or getting someone off the hook it’s a golden opportunity for this kil

There is a healthy balance of give and take on both sides, and in the end, one side is victorious by a narrow margin. This could mean that a killer or hunter does a lot of damage to the team (multiple hooks or downs, but no kills), or that all objectives are complete, only for everyone to die right before escap

In both games, players will find that they are rewarded with Blood Points and rank, or experience points, by engaging in a broad range of activities. A survivor in Dead by Daylight who repairs generators quickly and escapes safely but by chance never encounters the killer or had the opportunity to engage in altruistic actions may have "won", but their quantifiable post-match rewards will be minimal, and they may even lose a r

Cote said the walking dead survivor perks team still has a lot of original stories to tell so that Dead by Daylight is "first and foremost" its own lore that can invite visitors like Pyramid Head without "diluting" it. Any medium which could fit well within their world would be open to discussion in the future, he said, and there are still some properties that are "big enough" to make it into Dead by Daylight . However being recognized by "legends of our own industry" is humbling to the team, and Cote said they hope to do Pyramid Head just

A major tactic implemented to almost all Hillbilly player's arsenal is using his Chainsaw charge as a recon ability. Given how incredibly fast the ability is it allows for Hillbilly players to make rounds of a given area extremely efficiently. Plus the fact that the charge has no in-game stopping point other than running into a hazard allows for Hillbilly player to almost endlessly run around a given map. Making it quite easy to find and take out Survivors in the blink of an eye. So utilizing the Chainsaw charge as less of a pure offensive tool and more of a method to efficiently travel a map is the sign of a smart Hillbilly pla

What makes this Chainsaw charge so devastating, is that it grants the Hillbilly an instant kill attack out of the sprint. Essentially morphing the Hillbilly into a hyper-mobile killing machine. However, landing this one hit kill attack is not guaranteed, the strike is rather finicky and can whiff if thrown with reckless abando

Cannibal - The Cannibal, or Bubba from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre , is the poor man's Billy. The Cannibal wields a chainsaw which he can swing around wildly and it will instantly down any survivor who is hit by it. However, if Bubba hits an object he will throw a tantrum and be locked in place for a few seconds while he wildly swings his chainsaw. The tantrum is near-impossible to control but if a survivor happens to be in range when it happens they will be downed just as if he were hitting them with it with the sw

While the smaller size can be an advantage for sneaking up on survivors and playing mind games, it can also be incredibly annoying. You’ll have trouble peering over objects and have a general disadvantage for visually spotting surviv

These are among the most common outcomes to a match in these kinds of games, and one would be hard-pressed to find two matches that ever play out in the same way. With such distinct possible outcomes, how exactly does one measure succ

Ghost Face - Ghost Face, the iconic killer from the Scream franchise, is one of Dead by Daylight 's stealthy killers, which makes him powerful in his own right. Ghost Face has a similar mechanic to Myers, where he gets bonuses for stalking his prey instead of chasing outright. When Ghost Face stalks his prey enough, he can instantly down that target. What makes him different from Meyers is that his stealth doesn't go away for good. However, his main drawback is that if survivors are looking at him his stealth breaks and temporarily renders it usel

Dead by Daylight has made a name for itself as one of the best asymmetrical games out there, and due to the competitive nature of the game, playing the best killer is a key part of it. While there are some killers that are more fun to play than practical, some need some real adjustments. Behavior really needs to rework several of the current killers (and the one that's about to be added to the game) to make the game's meta a lot more interesting for both killers and surviv
