There are many different Work Suitabilities in the game, each shining in different areas. There are 3 in particular that you are going to need for farming. Ironically, the Farming Work Suitability is not one of them — that is what you will use for your ranches . The three Work Capabilities to focus on for growing your Wheat will be Planting, Watering, and Gathering . Pals with Planting will plant crops in the plantations you have set up. Pals with Watering will provide water for all structures that need it — including your plantations. Pals with Gathering will come along and harvest all the ready crops from your plantations — then the cycle repeats. Petallia is particularly noteworthy as this Pal has both a Lv 3 in Planting and a Lv 2 in Gathering.

As you build a base and wander around the world, you'll likely see a merchant dressed in red . This merchant will sell you a number of items. Fortunately, you can buy Bone for 100 gold . While it may take a lot of gold to buy enough bone for an entire project, the merchant can be very useful if you're only missing one or two.

This is a somewhat difficult question to answer, because truthfully, you can have unlimited bases up to a certain point . You see, you can build a mini-base at any given time, any given place, truly. If you find yourself wanting to go into a dungeon but need to do some quick crafting or cooking, you can throw down a workbench and fire anywhere to get that job done. But this is not really what a full base is in the game.

As is the case with every survival-type game, Palworld has you create a base to make your home when you first start out, and where you will create your own little workforce of Pals to gather resources, like wool , and generally just have a cozy place to return to after a long journey. While the game's tutorial is quick to ask you to settle down in a spot and begin building out your base , you may be wondering if this is the only one that you get during your playthrough.

Looking for these useful black wyrms can be a bit of a challenge since they tend to stay in the sky and are only found in one particular region. The good news is it's fairly easy to farm them once you know where to look. When you get them on your side, Vanwyrms will last you quite a long time until you find your first Jetragon . Until then, it's good to know where to farm these adorable pals.

This Pal can be captured as a Field Boss north of Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance Fast Travel . It is worth noting that they have a low catch rate, so pack a lot of Palspheres before you set of to catch one.

While any of these Pals drop bone, the earliest ones you'll encounter are Rushoar and Vixy. In my experience, Rushoar is the easier one to find and fight because they will attack you on sight. You will get some of the resource by fighting and catching these Pals, but I've found that you get the most resources from killing them outright. Then again, you will almost always get more xp for catching them . So, the route you decide to take is very much up to you.
