Human mechs that I recall taking out dozens of Na’vi in the films can be downed with three arrows or fewer than a full magazine of bullets in Frontiers of Pandora, turning outposts into a cakewalk. You are also very tall, so human enemies can be brushed aside with a light punch unless they’re hiding in the mountains or atop tall platforms aiming snipers at you. Even as a new species in a video game that could easily expand on the types of technology and weapons they have access to, Massive hasn’t done much here to take advantage of that. I can use some sort of cool launcher that can fling poisonous or explosive projectiles, but when it’s more of a chore to use than existing weapons, there wasn’t much of a point. All that's been revealed about the story so far is that the Na'vi are engaged in a war against humans, who intend on colonizing and industrializing the planet. That's basically the same conflict in the film, but the journey the player takes to stop them is a standalone story. The Avatar game was announced in 2017 but this is the first glimpse fans have seen of the game. There's a lot to unpack from the trailer and lots of exciting possibilities for both story and gameplay, but the most exciting thing showcased in the trailer is the confirmation of flying Bansh

As is the case with many games of the same genre, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora features a skill tree that unlocks as players progress through the game, unlocking powers and "instincts" that help them to analyze and strategically plan their attacks, as well as surviving, and reuniting with the Na’vi clans and the aforementioned creatures that inhabit Pandora. There is also a crafting system to make items and weapons, with better resources available the more Pandora begins to heal, merging the protagonist's knowledge of technology with the more traditional tribal weaponry of the Na'vi, which will assist players in their advent

In Ubisoft's Frontiers of Pandora , it's important that the Banshee rite of passage is included as a story element. Climbing the mountain to claim a Banshee is one of the most important moments in a Na'vi tribe member's life, and it would be a huge missed opportunity to not allow players to claim their own Banshee and become an official member. It's a rite of passage for both the character and for the pla

Set shortly before Avatar: The Way of Water , Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora takes players to the never-before-explored Western Frontier of Pandora. They take on the role of a Na'vi who was taken as a child by the RDA and trained as a soldier before they are put into suspended animation. Similarly to the movies, Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora will focus on the conflict between the alien Na'vi tribe, and the RDA. The human-led RDA looks to plunder Pandora for resources, setting up many bases across the planet that cause widespread pollution, as well as harming and poaching some of the planet's creatures, and a huge aim of the game is to destroy these bases and allow the ever-changing Open World Games-world of Pandora to organically " heal " once this pollution is lif

Just in this one location, there are a ton of exploration opportunities. The placement and landscape of the Hallelujah Mountains are constantly changing, and because Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora promises to show players entirely new areas of the planet, there's no telling how much more there is to see. Without Banshees, locations like the Hallelujah Mountains would be impossible to reach, but with them a wealth of new opportunities should become available. Players will want to explore every inch of the beautiful game world, and Banshees are the perfect otherworldly steed to travel w

Ragnarok will continue the story of Kratos and his son, now a young adult and not just a "Boy" as his father likes to call him, as they face off against the legendary figures of Norse mythology, such as Thor and Z

Frontiers of Pandora has the potential to allow us an even closer look at the ways these segmented Na'vi differ from one another. While it wouldn't be surprising for director James Cameron to save newer types of Na'vi for the films, it would also be thrilling to have the opportunity to explore the differences that exist even among the various forest and ocean tribes that we know

The game will have features commonly found in RPGs, such as character creation where players will get to choose from six character classes, all with unique and upgradable powers. Being an MMO game, players will have the opportunity to group with others and complete dungeons and other activities toget

Although Ubisoft is partnering with Massive Entertainment that has also made the likes of The Division 2 and Far Cry 3 , Assassin's Creed Valhalla is much closer to what many players may imagine Avatar: Frontier of Pandora will play like especially due to the large jungle environments and the agility of the Na'Vi peo

Reaction to the news of the reboot has been divisive, but from what is known about the Saints Row reboot, so far , it will be more grounded than Saints Row IV and focus on the conflict between rival gangs in the fictional city of Santo Il

The highly celebrated Batman: Arkham series is finally returning after seven years, except not really. From what is known about Gotham Knights , it is a Batman game for sure (although Batman is dead in it), but set in a different universe than the Arkham ga

It would be an enticing treat to run into some of these characters within Frontiers of Pandora, allowing you to interact with them for the first time.
