Baldur s Gate 3: Best Rogue Class Build
Rogues' unique class feature is the Sneak Attack, which deals massive damage with a higher chance to hit, but can only be initiated if players have Advantage over a target. There is a melee and a ranged option, both of which will break Stealth when used.
During Act 1, players should seek out Omeluum at the Myconoid Colony to acquire the Pearl of Power, allowing them to restore a level 3 or lower spell slot once per long rest. (Omeluum will sell the amulet once players help them to investigate the parasite.)
Phalar Aluve (1d8+1 Slashing, Longsword, Rare): If players get to the Underdark early in their experience, this weapon may be one of the first they can encounter. Its singing-based mechanics can be perfect for the Bard's themes, with its abilities capable of buffing allies or debuffing enemies.

As with most builds that focus on creating ideal Classes, the best Races are often the ones that maximize the boosts players can give to a particular Ability Score. Being a Charisma-heavy Class, the Bard needs to pack a lot of Charisma to ensure they can cast their most formidable Spells successfully. Thankfully, certain Races available to parties in the Baldur’s Gate title can help players maximize their Bard’s performance in the thick of battle:
Having access to Bladesong can be a huge boon to other spell-sword setups, like the Hexblade Warlock or even the Paladin, and since it doesn't rely on Intelligence, you could take the two-level dip to acquire Bladesong without needing to invest in that stat at all.
The School of Evocation grants a Wizard the abilities "Evocation Savant" and "Sculpt Spells" at second level. The former halves the cost of scribing evocation spells into their spellbook from 50gp to 25gp per spell level, while the latter allows them to exclude allies from the harmful effects of their Evocation spells.
The Divination School grants Wizards the abilities "Divination Savant" and "Portent" at level two. The former allows them to scribe Divination spells into their spellbook for half the normal cost , while the latter allows them to gain two "Portent Dice," which are rolled at random after a long rest. The divination wizard can replace any attack roll or saving throw within 9m with one of their portent dice as a reaction, allowing them to swap in a high number to help allies or a low number to sabotage foes.

As a Rogue multiclassing options can be hard to nail down, because the class is so focused on stealth throughout all three of its subclasses. One powerful pairing for the Thief rogue in particular is the Gloomstalker Ranger, which requires players to put three points into the Ranger class to unlock.
Updated on November 24, 2024 by Rhenn Taguiam: With Hotfix #29 giving console players of Baldur’s Gate 3 better mod stability and a 100-mod limit, fans of the acclaimed RPG will have a lot of room to tinker with new additions such as effects, weapons, customizations, and other features to add much-needed spice to their experience. However, before players even venture into adding numerous new effects to their gameplay experience, they may want to equip their characters with the best weapons possible - among which include some of the game’s best ranged weapons. These include upgraded versions of weapons, as well as one that would help characters move furt
For what it's worth, the story of Skyrim is pretty generic, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. After all, just like D&D , it's the journey that matters the most. Given the sheer number of interesting locales and unique quests that players will find in the game, it's easy to see why players can be positively enraptured for hours on
At level six, Necromancy Wizards get the abilities "Undead Thralls: Additional Undead" and "Undead Thralls: Better Summons." The former allows them to raise an extra corpse when casting "Raise Undead," while the latter empowers their undead with bonus HP equal to the Wizard's level and adds the Wizard's proficiency bonus to their damage rolls. At this point, the Necromancer is able to create multiple powerful undead to aid them in combat thanks to these two abilities.
