The Gauntlet looks strangely familiar to a skate park except it has a ring of fire and a ton of loot. It will be highly populated which means anyone coming into this area definitely needs their A-Game or it's going to be a quick match. There can be a great piece of loot in the fire ring by using the jump pads but the real attraction here is the easy access to multiple supply bins and the ability to move to the next looting locations right after. Most players will end up landing here and then going straight to the Market location right after or the Salvage area. It was designed with Octane in mind and if playing with him, take advantage of the open area and jump pads to speed up and get the drop on the oppone
Revenant's base design is so striking and visually interesting that it seems almost impossible at this point for Respawn to make a skin for him that isn't cool. The Death Etching skin players receive for purchasing the Season 5 battle pass follows this trend as another skin worth using. It very much echoes the same Egyptian and Middle Eastern fortune vibe that the other two skins its paired with display. Black on gold will never not look amazing, and the subtle red accents throughout make the skin truly outstand
Drop locations will have a small variation depending on where the dropship is entering the area. For example, the ship might be coming by way of the Artillery and then the next game it can start from the Hydro Dam. The important item to note here is that no matter where the ship enters the area, it's important to make decisions quickly as players have probably already dropped and are looting while decisions are being made. Time is of the essence here so let's show some of the best locations and explain why they are the b
Toxicity is nothing new in gaming. But I fail to understand why we should continue to allow this behavior to continue if there’s something we can do to mitigate it and reward those who don’t engage. I’ve had friends uninstall Apex Legends due to frustration with random squadma
Just like with the Off The Record skin discussed in the last entry, the Bootlegger skin has a sister skin that's pretty much a palette swap. This one also happens to be the variant that places an emphasis on red, black, and white as its color focus. This skin makes Loba look very dapper and fits into the aesthetic theme of the entire season. People will often use the phrase "dressed to kill" and Loba is communicating every bit of it with this outfit. It could also be mistaken as someone's created character in Red Dead Onli
You might be scratching your head wondering how on Earth the Prowler made it into the Top 10 when considering the best weapons in the game for Season 5 . It all comes down to a single attachment called the select-fire hop-up. When attached it allows players to turn the gun into an assault rifle. A fully equipped Prowler turns the unwieldy and overlooked gun into something quite formidable in battle. It shouldn't be your go-to weapon, but it can make its mark in a pinch with the right pieces in pl
Now let's talk about the other color variant of the Bootlegger skin. This one is mostly gold and black and goes by the name Gold Standard. The pinstripes on this skin are a lot more subdued and at a glance, it simply looks like Loba is wearing a gold and black jacket. If the other skin is a created character in Red Dead Online , this one might be an end-game outfit you unlock after hours of grinding and/or gathering resources. It visually brings back the images of Loba as a child, growing up in a life of wea
Further, this could help balance the lobbies. The theory would be that someone who has gotten "good teammate" accolades has earned the right to not have to squad with potentially toxic teammates. It wouldn’t have to be the case every game, but the "good teammate" would overall have the benefit of playing far fewer games with potentially toxic rand
In the past few weeks, I've twice watched someone back out of a game because I chose the character they wanted to play. Both times, it was because my game defaulted to the character because I didn't make a selection. In one instance, I even apologized after noticing the other player had wanted to be the character I had chosen, but the player backed out anyway. It's important to note that in Apex Legends collectibles Legends , selection order is randomized. In both cases, my name popped up first on the selection menu, meaning I had every right to choose whichever character I wanted to play. Regardless, backing out for something so mundane is problematic because my team is forced to play the game as a squad of two up against squads of three, which makes the game much more diffic
The Slum Lanes can be a bit of a maze to newer players but the good thing about this area is that it can be easy to get lost when meeting up with other players. Unless someone is using Bloodhound or Crypto, this area is easy to get the jump on others and escape if needed. The area has a lot of loot chests here as well but they are spread out and most of the loot is just lying on the floor in each building. Not a lot of players come to this location and is a good place to go if avoidance of the pack is the strat
