Ghost of Tsushima may be the most anticipated new intellectual property of 2020. While many exciting to-be released games are coming up in 2020, many of them are either based on existing stories outside of the world of video games, or are sequels to pre-existing franchises in gaming. Ghost of Tsushima , though, is something new altoget

She was last seen stuck aboard a Halo installation that was abruptly brought out of slipspace by a Guardian construct. Her fate is unknown right now and Halo Infinite would be a good vehicle for disclosing what happened to

Guilty Gear Strive is the seventh mainline game in the Guilty Gear franchise. Unfortunately, we barely know anything about it, despite the fact that it's only a few months away. Arc has been fairly open about the fact that this is going to be a whole new Guilty Gear experience, meaning that fans of the series should expect quite a few changes to the traditional formula. What those changes entail... Your guilty guess is as good as ours.

Another way Infinite could connect to Halo Wars 2 is with its major A.I. character, Isabel. Despite her young age for an A.I. she proved to be a huge asset to the crew of the Spirit of Fire and could do the same for the Master Chief, since Cortana won't be around after her heel turn in Hal

Xbox is preparing to bring 14 first-party games to E3 this year, along with plenty of third-party titles and hopefully more news about its next-gen console hardware. With Sony out of the way and companies like EA holding their own livestreams instead of keynotes, the path to convention domination looks like a smooth road for Microsoft . Alongside a number of big-ticket items already confirmed for the Xbox keynote along with news about some highly-anticipated games making the rounds, we're expecting great things from the Xbox E3 2019 presentat

This is one I've personally been looking forward to for ages. Like The Medium, Kena: Bridge of Spirits also has to do with blending our world with the spirit world, but in this case Kena is tasked with helping the recently deceased traverse lands plagued by wretched evils. She uses a staff to wallop said wretched evils in their wretched skulls, and the staff can also become a bow - because why not? If Ori taught us anything, it's that spirit weapons don't follow the same rules as regular ones. I'm all for a magic staff-bow in a weird world-but-not-the-real-world.

Change is difficult, we get that, but there's something about Prometheans that fans have never really been a fan of since they took to the forefront of Halo lore in the fourth game. Sure, we can chalk up the problems to fans just thinking "it's because they're not the Covenant" and call it a day, but it feels like 343 has not done enough to make fans really sink their teeth in this alien r

Prey draws players in with its memorable opening, which immediately unnerves the player with a sense of foreboding before bursting into life. The game struggles to reach the heights of its opening again, but it's still a fantastic, adrenaline-pumping first-person shooter that anyone subscribed to Game Pass should

There just needs to be more than the handful on-offer. Thankfully, 343 has remedied that by offering variants on many vehicle-types, making this problem feel like less of an issue, but we'd love to get our hands on as many cars, trucks, tanks, planes and alien motors as possi

A collection that includes two of the most critically acclaimed titles from the seventh generation of home consoles is always likely to perform well on Metacritic. BioShock: The Collection was released in 2016 and supplemented its impressive trilogy of games by including remastered iterations of BioShock and BioShock 2. It also offered the series' DLCs such as BioShock Infinite : Burial at Sea Episode 1 and Episod

One thing Halo is known for is its gigantic non-linear level design. While the campaign doesn't really follow that idea, there's something fun about exploring the battle arenas. Whether we're searching for skulls, or just messing around with the game's physics, it's a bl

The improved hardware of the Xbox One allowed developers to create incredibly immersive games that accomplished what the FPS genre does best: make the player feel as though they're in the heart of the act

We already know that a handful of titles are confirmed to make an appearance at the Xbox E3 presentation: Gears 5 , Halo Infinite , and Halo: The Master Chief Collection . With confirmation from head honcho, Infinity Nikki patch notes Phil Spencer, that 14 Xbox Game Studios titles will be shown during the conference, this leaves the floor wide open for speculation about other games that are going to make an appearance outside of the big three that have captured the media's attention this y

There are very few narrow hallways, and it makes each firefight feel like an epic battle. We're hoping 343 can expand on this even more, giving players a living, breathing world to explore, but if that's too much to ask, we'll take even bigger lev
