Garen's ability, Courage, is both his second active and second passive ability. The passive ability is a permanent buff granted to Garen for slaying enemies. For every unit killed by Garen, his armor and magic resistance increase by 0.25 points until he reaches a total of 30 points. Once at 30 points (or stacks) Garen will gain an additional 10% increase to both his armor and magic resistance stats.
