Review: EA SPORTS FC 25 Ushers In Addictive New Mode
James Maddison has become an absolute star at Tottenham Hotspur, and the English international could be a valuable addition to your Ultimate Team. He could become the focal point in terms of chance creation, and playing him behind the striker will be particularly help
Rush makes sense for the inclusion in Ultimate Team as players can build their team, but playing in Clubs Rush is the best online career-based mode in sports games. The Youth Academy in the Managerial Career will also be 5v5. The entire experience honestly plays out like hockey, and thanks to the changes in gameplay mechanics and if playing against the AI, it's highly addictive. The online component works as intended with Rush, doesn't feel sluggish due to input lag, and matches tend to last less than ten minutes. The ability to upgrade the player in Clubs Rush and the fact the turn around time to quickly find a match and play a match means the player will be hooked. Yeah, there will be bad players encountered, but Rush in its entirety takes everything that makes the sport of soccer great and brilliantly compresses it into an entirely new experience.
Defensive players can be organized into three key positions - Left Backs, Right Backs, and Central Backs . All athletes in these spots are responsible for different sides of your backfield during a game. Some of the best formations from EA Sports FC 24 return as you use three players on defense to fill these roles in your t
Racheal Kundananji, all the way from Bay Football Club, is another great female striker with great abilities in the frontline, and using her as a starter card will be of great value to your squad. She is currently signed to the club for £625k, and her contract lasts until 2
It is also worth noting the overall gameplay and momentum are slowed down. Players have more weight in transition and it is easier to get caught flat-footed. Gameplay is still extremely smooth and putting the ball in the net remains extremely satisfying after the work that is put in. The AI is what stands out the best with the product on the field and seeing the strategy play out with teammates is neat.
But in presentation and organisation, EA FC feels very different. It feels a lot more Tactico-coded; no longer do players play in Defence or Midfield but as Inverted Wingbacks, Ballplaying Centre Backs, Wide Forwards, Shadow Strikers, and Roaming Playmakers. There have been options to control your positioning on a more micro level before, but this brings it front and centre, emphasising tactical input - how the players react to this is called FC
Levi Lamar Samuels Colwill’s silver card is one of the most underrated and, thanks to the Road To FC 25 Evolution, he also gets a 99 rating, making him one of the top center backs in ultimate team . The only downside to his card is his 59 shooting, which isn’t really needed considering he is a defen
Then there's Career Mode. I'm a rare breed of EA FC player (or at least I feel like I am) in that Career Mode is my go-to , followed by Online Seasons. Ultimate Team has never had its claws in me much. This time, the biggest change is the addition of women's teams for Career Mode. In our short preview we only had Kick-Off and Rush, but it's a requested change which adds more options to the game with a simple
Virgil van Dijk is the defensive player with the highest Overall Rating in EA Sports FC 25 , but that's not why he is special. This player has outstanding physical stats, sporting 90 Defensive Awareness and 93 Strength to enforce that knowledge. With 90 Composure as well, van Dijk is a calm, collected soldier who hits like a tank at only the right moments to help your team the m
Each player's strengths in each position is based on Opta analysis of the past two seasons, including thousands of minutes, but I'm not sure what this means for lower league players. I'm also less confident in the numbers EA Sports FC 25 TOTS presented, which had Bellingham at 14 percent suitability as a Shadow Striker. Maybe these numbers aren't final, as he also has the Role Plus Plus for this position, which is reserved for world class stars. Every player has a Role Plus, the position and emphasis (Roaming, Deep-Lying, Defensive etc) in which they play best, and Plus Plus is where they are the best of the b
Güler’s Futties card stats are 99 dribbling, 99 passing, 97 pace, 95 shooting, five-star skill moves, five-star weak foot accuracy, and a high attacking work rate. With this upgraded card, you can play him either as an attacking midfielder, a central midfielder, or a right-winger and put this lethal card to good
Her card stats are 91 pace, 87 physicality, 85 dribbling, 82 shooting, 73 passing, 42 defending, four-star skill moves, and five-star weak foot accuracy. So far, she has received an upgrade on her FC 25 card compared to her stats in the previous instalm
Another gold player that gets a 99 rated Road To FC 25 card is the Japanese midfielder, Reo Hatate, and this card could cause a lot of problems for your opponent. His overpowered card has both excellent attacking and defending attributes, which makes him a well-rounded central midfiel
