As mentioned above, you wouldn't want to use your Basic Attacks to trigger Incarnation in most cases. However, if you're still doing that in some instances, like the very start of the battle, it's highly recommended to not interrupt this combo until you get the Overflowing Radiance sk

This dedication extends to his personal items, Iuno too. His old gauntlet, outdated and worn from years of use, is so clean that every intricate line and crevice stands out clearly. His favorite white hat never shows a spec of dirt, despite the fact that he uses it as a weapon and wears it constan

Jinhsi's main role in most of the team will always be the on-field DPS as she takes a long time on the field to deal some significant damage. You'd commonly want to switch to her with an Intro Skill in this t

Jianxin is a 5-star Aero Natural Resonator, martial arts master, and fantastic all-rounder that can be gained early into Wuthering Waves thanks to the free 5-star chooser players get to use. She's another great choice for newer or less experienced players who aren't as adept at dodging thanks to her ability to auto-parry, shield, negate damage, and deal a good amount of damage. That being said, some limitations in her kit keep her from being as good later in the g

Sometimes you’ll need a ton of luck to get the characters you want in Wuthering Waves . But luckily, they do give you some nice starting characters to use for free if you’d like. Chixia is one of the free characters you’ll get from the story, and she’s a fairly viable gun user within the game. She is a Fusion element-based character that will be best used on the field as often as possible. She won’t require anything super special to start, but she can be one of your best 4-star characters if you take the time to get what she needs.

Once Yuanwu has the proper weapons, echoes, and teams all set up, you are golden to use him in your teams. Of course, he’ll need levels in everything, but you will also want to look into upgrading his normal abilities too. These will cost some resources found in forgery challenges as well as some just found from exploring the world. Upgraded skills don’t add a ton to his numbers at first, but they will slowly start to add up and really make him hit harder, especially if you are using his weapons that will scale with his defense. After you’ve gotten him set up you’ll have a very strong character to add to your team that will support heavy hitters for a long time.

In line with his texture aversion, Yuanwu's comfort food is Jinzhou Stew. When he was wandering the countryside as a young adult, he would make Jinzhou Stew when he felt homesick. His love of the stew only grew, and today he can't have enough of

The mysterious and friendly Information Broker, Aalto is a 4-star Aero Congenital Resonator. Primarily acting as a taunter, he's a solid 4-Star sub-DPS who can also support his fellow Aero DPS units nicely, or who can even act as a decent on-field DPS himself as long as players unlock more of his Sequence No

Overall, the Solitary Path Companion Story is still better than Lingyang's Companion Story quest. Alongside this, the opportunity to play as Yinlin in a dungeon customized to fit her allows the player to have a good bit of fun with the character. While there's room for improvement, Yinlin's quest is a lot of fun, and the issues can easily be overloo

Yuanwu is one of several characters that won’t need to stay in battle for a long time. He can be built to have several playstyles to enhance how long he’s on the field, but you’ll generally want to keep his time there limited to deal more damage with a heavy hitter. Jinhsi is going to be a character that compliments his shorter field time with her longer requirements on the field. She’s a heavy hitter and can benefit from Yuanwu’s Thunder Wedge, which he can put down in fights. Yuanwu doesn’t buff other characters nearly as well as some others, but his persistent field damage after he’s been switched out will allow you to focus on dealing damage with Jinhsi as often as possible.

Already one of the most broken characters Wuthering Waves has to offer, General Jiyan of the Midnight Rangers is an Aero Mutant Resonator who offers massive amounts of damage thanks to his Qingloong Mode attack. He can group enemies and deal powerful AOE attacks, making him fantastic against mobs, and he's pretty easy to build and use, too. He's a definite must-pull for anyone who wants to clear content quickly and eas

If you want to get a specific limited character in Wuthering Waves , you have to pull on the event banners using the gacha currency, which is quite difficult to build up. The game's also releasing cool characters one after another, but if you're an F2P or low-spending player, you likely can't get them

Jianxin or Yinlin also work well with Yuanwu as another alternate dps character option. The only issue is that Jianxin has a variety of builds and some of them will come at the cost of her overall damage. Yinlin can deal a ton of damage quickly but also needs to be swapped out often to take advantage of intro skills and various buffs from other characters. Using either of these options will require you to play a quicker style and swap characters frequently. It's a fun and unique way to play the game, but it won’t be ideal for everyone.
