While its Partner Skill is lacking, as it only increases damage done to ore, its element combination is pretty much perfect. Dark hits Neutral effectively and is weak against Dragon, whereas Dragon hits Dark effectively and is weak against Ice. This means that Astegon is the perfect counter to Dark and Neutral Pals , which basically covers a majority of randomly spawned Pals in the overworld.

As if that wasn’t enough, if you’re a good person who accidentally gets murdered by a Helzepher, too bad, now you’re going to hell too. Sorry about all those virtues. Sure, it could be a bit of hyperbole from the creator of the Paldeck, or at the least the intern who has to write all the snappy Pal descriptions in the Palworld universe, but if it isn’t, and somehow researchers have tapped into the worlds after this one, Helzephyr is a terrifying realization into what awaits people after death.

The Cinnamoth’s Paldeck entry isn’t creepy because of anything the Cinnamoth did on its own , but instead because of what humans have done to it. Sniffing a Cinnamoth will cause ‘unparalleled euphoria’ when inhaled, much like a highly potent drug, and if there are little side effects to the act, it could lead to mass poaching of the sweet little moth.

Not every Pal has a creepy or disturbing entry in the Paldeck, but for those who do, they can be wildly harrowing, taking the mostly cute and cuddly creatures of Palworld online guide and casting a much darker shadow over their existence.
